Bridge Rehabilitation Projects -
Replacement of San Francisco Roadway Bridge

Project Limits:
Project will occur at three different bridge sites at the
following locations in San Francisco:
- Paul Avenue
- 23rd Street
- 22nd Street
Construction Cost:
$10.8 Million (estimate)
Begin Construction:
July 2007
End Construction:
July 2008
Reason for Project:
This project is necessary to replace
bridges, which have deteriorated with
time and regular use.
Scope of Work:
Each bridge has specific requirements, however,
a general review of the scope of work that will
be done during this project includes:
- Replacing existing bridges with new steel or
pre-stressed concrete spans
- Reconstructing bridge approach roadways in
accordance with current city standards
