Take Caltrain To See The Body Worlds At The Tech In San Jose Jose
Science and anatomy fans won’t want to miss Gunther von Hagen’s BODY WORLDS 2 and The Three Pound Gem: the Anatomical Exhibit of Real Human Bodies, presented by The Health Trust, at The Tech Museum in downtown San Jose. In its first and only Bay Area appearance, the exhibit explores the complexity and beauty of the human body and mysteries of the brain. Caltrain offers 96 weekday trains and hourly weekend service to in and out of San Jose. The museum is located about six blocks from the San Jose Diridon Caltrain Station. The Tech is only two stops from Diridon station on VTA light rail, and Caltrain Monthly Pass holders ride VTA for free. Patrons should get off at the Convention Center stop. On weekdays until early evening, there is free shuttle service from the station on the Downtown Area Shuttle – DASH.
Caltrain is a Proof-of-Payment system and requires passengers to purchase tickets before boarding. Ticket options include: One-way, Day Pass or 10-ride tickets. Passengers are required to validate all 10-ride tickets before boarding. Monthly Pass holders ride free through all zones on weekends.
