Take Caltrain to the climate all stars conference

Environmentally conscious participants of the upcoming Climate All Stars Conference should consider taking Caltrain to the event in an effort to help reduce Bay Area traffic congestion.

The conference, which focuses on greenhouse gas reduction, will be held this Friday, Sept. 21, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral, 1111 Gough St., San Francisco.

Peninsula attendees of the daylong conference will find that taking Caltrain into San Francisco is a convenient way to avoid the city’s traffic and parking hassles.

All northbound trains terminate at the San Francisco Caltrain Station at Fourth and King streets. From there, passengers can board Muni’s 47 line at the corner of Fourth and Townsend streets and get off at Van Ness Avenue and Eddy Street, which is about four blocks away from the cathedral.

For schedule and fare information or for help planning your trip, call 1.800.660.4287 (TTY 650.508.6448).
