Take Caltrain to the San Mateo County Fair

Fairgoers gearing up for their yearly dose of carnival rides, games and food can avoid traffic and parking hassles by taking Caltrain to the San Mateo County Fair Aug. 10-19.

Caltrain provides daily service to the Hillsdale station, just a short walk from the fairgrounds and steps away from Bay Meadows Race Track.

SamTrans will be on-hand at the fair on Kids’ Day, Thursday, Aug. 16, with information about transit service throughout the county, as well as the “Art Takes a Bus Ride” bus. The bus was recently wrapped in colorful photos of this year’s winning artwork by local students on the theme of “SamTrans Takes You There.”
