Caltrain Welcomes Fans For Stanley Cup Playoffs

Ice hockey fans can beat a direct path to the Stanley Cup Playoff action at HP Pavilion April 16 and 18 by taking Caltrain.

With its San Jose terminal located across the street from HP Pavilion, Caltrain service makes it easy to avoid the hassle and expense of driving and parking.

A number of trains arrive from San Francisco and the Peninsula in time for the San Jose Sharks’ 7 p.m. face-off against the Predators. The last northbound train is scheduled to depart the San Jose station at 10:30 p.m., but train departure may be delayed up to 15 minutes after a Sharks game.

The train makes all regular local stops. Trains stop at the Broadway and Atherton stations on weekends only.

Caltrain is a Proof of Purchase system and requires passengers to purchase tickets before boarding. Ticket options include: One-way, Day Pass, or 10-ride tickets. Passengers are required to validate all 10-ride tickets before boarding.

For information about schedules and fares, call Caltrain’s Customer Service Center at 1.800.660.4287.
