Caltrain Ready To Roll For S.F. Pride Parade
Bay Area residents headed to the 36th
annual Pride Parade festivities in
San Francisco June 24 and 25 can
avoid traffic and parking hassles by
taking Caltrain that weekend.
Caltrain will operate 32 hourly trains
on Saturday, June 24, and 28 hourly
trains on Sunday, June 25.
On Saturday the celebration events at
Civic Center will begin at noon.
Trains 425 and 427 arrive in
San Francisco at 10:36 a.m.
and 11:36 a.m., respectively.
Sunday’s parade will start at 10:30 a.m.
at Beale and Market streets, heading
west on Market and one
morning train arrives in San Francisco
before the parade begins at 9:36 a.m.
Caltrain riders arriving in San Francisco
can transfer to the Muni Metro across the
street from the train station at Fourth and
King streets and take Muni to Market Street
and Civic Center. Caltrain tickets must be
purchased before boarding the train, and
ticket vending machines are available at
all stations.
