Caltrain and BART Help You Avoid Big Traffic to the “Big Game”
Caltrain and BART are teaming up for a great
defense against game day traffic to one of the
longest standing rivalries in the Bay Area, the
109th game between Stanford and University of
California, Berkeley at noon, on Saturday, Dec. 2.
Fans can take advantage of Caltrain’s hourly
weekend service up and down the Peninsula,
and transfer to BART at the Millbrae Intermodal
Station, which offers a cross-platform connection.
From BART, passengers can transfer to a
Richmond-bound train at the Balboa Park station,
which will take them to downtown Berkeley, just a
short walk from Memorial Stadium on the Cal campus.
Caltrain is a proof-of-payment system and passengers
are required to have valid tickets while onboard. For
Caltrain schedules and information, call 1.800.660.4287
(TTY 650.508.6448) for service and train fare information.
