Caltrain and SamTrans to Run Alternate Service on Labor Day.

For the Labor Day holiday Monday, Sept. 4, both Caltrain and SamTrans will operate on alternate schedules from their regular weekday service.

Caltrain will operate on a Sunday schedule. The rail line will operate 28 trains between San Francisco and San Jose. A special shuttle bus will take passengers between the Tamien and San Jose Diridon stations. No trains will operate to Gilroy.

SamTrans will run a holiday schedule which provides service on the following routes only:

In North County: 38, 120, 121, 122, 130 In Central County and Coastside: 110, 112, 294 San Francisco/Daly City to the Peninsula: KX, 390, 391, 292, 397 In South County: 280, 281, 296, 297

No other SamTrans routes will operate.
