Caltrain Will Add Service for Night Baseball Game June 11

Caltrain will run extra service for this Saturday’s evening game at SBC Park between the San Francisco Giants and the Cleveland Indians.

An extra northbound train will leave the San Jose Diridon station at 4:30 p.m., making all local stops and arriving at the Caltrain terminal at Fourth and King streets at 6:06 p.m., in plenty of time for the 7:15 p.m. game.

Train No. 441, which departs San Jose Diridon at 5:00 p.m. and arrives in San Francisco at 6:36 p.m., will have expanded capacity to accommodate crowds heading to the game.

In addition to its regular southbound service after the game, Caltrain will operate an express train to San Carlos, which leaves approximately 15 minutes after the last out or when full. That train makes all local stops after San Carlos.

A second extra train will leave San Francisco 25 minutes after the game or when full and will make all stops to San Jose.

On weekends, Caltrain makes the connection for most trains between the San Jose Diridon and the Tamien station by means of a shuttle bus.
