Caltrain Maintenance and Construction Dec. 12 - 15

From Dec. 12 to 15, crews will continue with a project to replace rail on the tracks between Brisbane and San Bruno and install ties in San Mateo and Belmont. In addition, crews will be using a mechanical tamper to adjust ties at various locations between San Mateo and Menlo Park.

To avoid train delays the work will take place from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., Monday to Thursday. There will be construction noise from the equipment used to accomplish this work, but crews will work as quietly as possible.

Caltrain apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this vital maintenance work.
