Caltrain Adds to Roster for Thursday Ballgame

Caltrain’s line-up for the June 24 game will include an additional northbound train to get baseball fans to SBC Park in time for the San Francisco Giants and the Los Angeles Dodgers match-up.

The train will depart the San Jose Diridon Caltrain Station at 1:56 p.m. and make all regular local stops on the way to San Francisco, arriving at 3:32 p.m., in time for the 4:05 p.m. game.

Caltrain’s regular half-hourly service includes trains arriving at the San Francisco station at 2:42 p.m., 3:03 p.m., 3:42 p.m. and 4:03 p.m.

After the game, Caltrain offers hourly departures from San Francisco, between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. Caltrain also will operate two special trains, an express train to San Carlos, which will leave 15 minutes after the last out or when full; and a local train which will leave 25 minutes after the game or when full.
