Caltrain Ready to Roll for Macworld
Macworld Conference and Expo attendees headed to the event at San Francisco's
Moscone Center can avoid parking and traffic hassles by taking Caltrain.
Caltrain offers frequent commute-hour and half-hourly midday service to get apple
devotees to the conference Jan. 10 – 14, 2005. And for added convenience Caltrain
connects with BART at its Millbrae Intermodal Station and with Muni at the Fourth and
King streets station in San Francisco.
Train passengers can transfer to BART at Millbrae and ride to BART's Powell or
Embarcadero street stations to access the expo center. Or if Caltrain passengers want
to connect with Muni routes 15, 30 or 45 will take them to Third and Howard streets
near the center.
Caltrain is a tri-county partnership of San Francisco Municipal Railway, San Mateo
County Transit District and Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority. Caltrain
operates 86 weekday trains between San Francisco and San Jose, with commute-hour
service to Gilroy. A total of 62 trains offer service on weekends.
