Caltrain Joining in Giants FanFest

Caltrain will join in welcoming San Francisco Giants fans back for the 2003 season during Saturday's Winter FanFest at Pier 48, next to McCovey Cove.

Caltrain staff will be on hand during the Feb. 1 festival held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., distributing schedules and answering questions about train and bus service to the ballpark. Fans will also get a chance to win prizes, including free-ride tickets.

Caltrain supplements its regular rail service with "baseball specials" on weekdays. On weekends, because of track construction, Caltrain offers a baseball bus service from key Peninsula stations to get fans to Giants games.
