Caltrain Announces Baby Bullet Stops

Caltrain recently announced the stations that will be served by its much-anticipated Baby Bullet Service. In addition, to its San Francisco and San Jose stations, the Baby Bullet will serve the Millbrae, Hillsdale, Palo Alto and Mountain View stations.

The new service, which begins next spring, will cut travel times between San Francisco and San Jose to less than an hour.

In order to accommodate the new service, the Caltrain timetable will be completely redone and will include new service patterns. The purpose of the schedule overhaul is to speed travel time and provide a level of service that is responsive to existing and future demand.

The new schedule, which will include up to 10 more trains than Caltrain's current 76-train schedule, will be presented in a series of public meetings in October.
