Caltrain Takes Fans to the Diamond Bowl at Pac Bell Park

Caltrain will take college football fans to Pacific Bell Park on New Year's Eve for the first ever Diamond Walnut San Francisco Bowl. Virginia Tech takes on the Air Force during this inaugural bowl game.

In addition to its regular service, Caltrain will offer extra service for the bowl game, which starts at 7:30 p.m. Extra trains will run approximately 10 minutes ahead of northbound Trains 81 and 83.

Following the game, the regularly scheduled train departs San Francisco at 11:59 p.m. Extra trains will depart when full and will make all local stops. The last special train will depart no later than 1:15 a.m.

Purchase tickets at staffed stations or ticket vending machines before boarding the train to Pac Bell Park.

All train service is free on trains originating after 11 p.m.
