VTA Downtown Shuttle Service for San Jose Jazz Festival

A special Downtown Area Shuttle (DASH) service will take jazz fans to the festival between Friday, Aug. 9 through Sunday, Aug. 11.

This service is free and open to everyone.

On Friday, regular DASH service will operate from 6:15 a.m. to 6:55 p.m. Special Jazz Festival DASH service starts at 6:55 p.m. and runs until 12:05 a.m.

On Saturday and Sunday, special Jazz Festival DASH service will operate from 7:10 a.m. to 12:05 a.m., and on those days the DASH bus stop at the San Jose Diridon Station will be located in the transit terminal.

During the Jazz Festival hours DASH will follow a different route due to the street closures between Almaden Boulevard and Delmas. The DASH bus stops on San Fernando will not be used after 6 p.m. on Friday through Monday morning. There will be a temporary DASH bus stop on San Fernando at Market, and another on Almaden Boulevard at San Fernando during the Jazz Festival.

The Jazz Festival DASH service also has been scheduled to connect with Caltrain, which will be operating buses on Saturday and Sunday because of the CTX construction project.
