Ride Caltrain to Festival of Sail

Either by sea or by land, the best way to get to the Festival of Sail is using public transportation. From July 23 to 27, San Francisco will welcome striking Tall Ships from all over the world.

The event, which is produced by San Francisco Maritime National Park Association, showcases historic ships from all over the world, including United States Coast Guard Cutter Eagle, the only active commissioned sailing vessel in the U.S. military service and Nina - the only touring maritime museum of its kind.

There will be three locations along the San Francisco Bayfront to visit displays and take ship tours. For additional information, please visit the Web site www.festivalofsail.org.

Caltrain encourages you to purchase a Day Pass on your way to the festivities to avoid delays in boarding after the event. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on trains beginning at 9 p.m.
